Update

Ok so I guess it's time for an update.  Although I don't know who all reads these anymore since there is now Myspace.  Yes, I too have a myspace now, it's http://www.myspace.com/beth122078.  I have a small friend count but then again I don't just go "accepting" invites all willy nilly from people I don't even know.  Yes, you might be a hillarious comedian or an up and coming singer but I don't care, I don't know you!!
So anyway, nothing new too much with me.  I'm loving summer time and the heat....ahhh heat. Been swimming a couple times with Elijah.  He's not so much a water baby yet, but I'm working on it with Jenny's help.  She's the bad guy who dunks him under water to get him used to it and I'm the mommy who comforts him afterwards, it's a great team.
Elijah is a walking fool now, go go go, opening and shutting doors, it's fun trying to keep up with him and see what kind of new, sneaky way he's found to get into things.  His favorite words are hiya, bye bye, tank ooo (thank you), nano (piano), num num (for I see food give it to me), and of course no (when he doesn't want something) and no no (when he knows he's not supposed to be doing something).
Well, that's all for now.  Here's a new picture of Elijah from a couple months ago when we were feeding him.

Inspired by Jennifer's entry today I decided to do a what I did today as well.
Woke up and changed/fed Elijah, he was still tired so he went back to sleep.  Worked on the computer for work for about 3 1/2 hours.  My mom came over to hug on Elijah.  Went to Sonic for lunch.  Took Elijah on a stroll around the park down the street since it was a beeeauuutiful day!  Laid him down for a nap and surfed the net, checked emails.  Went to Meme's for dinner to celebrate Matt's birthday on Sunday and I had yummy pot roast then two cupcakes and bowl of ice cream...yummmm.  Came home played with Elijah for a bit and put him to bed.
I love it when God surprises you with two glorious days in the winter when it could definately be cold and icky.
Of course it wouldn't be a post from me w/o a new pic of Elijah!

Ok here's another update.  I really don't have anything new or fascinating about me at all.  I guess that happens when you're a mom so bear with me.   Oh, my last day of work at John Deere was on the 13th.  But now I work for them as a temp at home doing some work online, pretty sweet deal.  I can work in my PJs and still be home with Elijah!   Speaking of the little guy, or big guy if you'ver ever held him you know what I mean.   He got his first tooth a couple weeks ago.  Here is a pic of him and you can see the tiny, yet sharp, little tooth.  He's kinda making a crazy face, but of course I think it's cute.

Hello all!  I know it's been a while since I've posted, but as Natalie said in someone else's xanga it's ok b/c I have a baby now.   Elijah is doing fabulous, getting so big and so much fun.  He's really starting to get his own personality.  He's quite the camera ham , but yet at the same time we think he's going to be a bashful baby.  Just a litte over a month and I'll be home with him!!   Here are some new pics of him, hopefully they show up well.

P.S. Thanks to all who leave comments, I read them and I appreciate them even if I don't comment back.  I try to, but sometimes I forget.

It's been a long time since I've posted so here goes!  Not much really new happens around here.  Mostly taking care of my beautiful baby boy, Elijah, and going to work.  I can't wait until after the first of the year when I'll be able to quit and stay home with him.  I miss him sooooo much during the day and can't wait to get home to see him smile and laugh at me.  He's only 4 months old but already growing too big!
